She was predeceased by: her parents, Royal Nelson and Bertha Nelson; her husband John Courter; her daughters, Carol Jean and Betty; her great grandchild Amanda; her son Donald; and her siblings, Jess, Roy, Violet, Grace, Alice, Zeda, Vina and Gladys.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia Hansen (Jerry). She is also survived by several grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
