He is survived by: his mother Betty Kurtzweil (Neuman); his wife Mary Chojnacki; his children, April Kemnitz (Jamie), Jennifer Strickland (Joshua) and James Kurtzweil; his granddaughters, Brianna and Taylor Kemnitz; and his brothers, Steven Kurtzweil (Kathy), Tim Kurtzweil, Greg Kurtzweil (Karen), Larry Kurtzweil (Mary) and Jerry Kurtzweil.
