It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra J. Anderson (Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin), born in Pittsville, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Schalla and Willimina Schalla; her husband Richard Anderson; her granddaughter Abigail Johnson; her son-in-law Michael Cates; her stepson Kevin Anderson; and her siblings, Martha Craft, Melvin Schalla, Walter Schalla, Evangeline Dye, Gladys McCarthy, Delores Chasteen and June Heineck.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy Haupt (Kevin), Kimberly Reshel and Wendy Cates; her grandchildren, Lucas Reshel, Nicholas, Ethan Cates (Daerian Puga), Alicia Witt, Elizabeth Biolo (Drake), Erik Haupt, Kara Anderson and Krista Basler (Luke); her great grandchildren, Zachariah Johnson, Brynna and Cooper Basler; her niece Vicki Alft (John); and also Sue Anderson. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Center (2201 Chestnut St, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Sandy's name for a memorial to be established at a later date.
