She was predeceased by: her son John T. Almquist; her stepmother Mamie Mackie; her brothers, Floyd Mackie and Chester Mackie; her stepsister Violet Wilson; and also, Bobbi Jo and Yorkie.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Robert Simon Almquist (Sarah), Jill Marie Clapp, Lynn A., Joan M. Almquist and Patrick W. Almquist (Brenda); her sister Elsie Mae Mackie; and her stepbrother Edwin Nokua. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
