It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Porter of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Theodore Schill; her sons, Theodore Peter and Thomas Paul; and her son-in-law Jeremy Firkus. She is survived by: her mother Beatrice Schill (Schudy); her former spouse Thomas Henry Porter; her close friend Joanne; her daughters, Andrea Firkus of Amherst, Michelle Gumney (Michael) of Bancroft and Dawn Porter of Stevens Point; her grandchildren, Deidre Gumney (Shannon), Michaela Gumney, Rochelle Ramczyk (Ryan), Darren Jakubek (Kourtney), Brandon Tepp, Tiffany Gumney (Chris), Tristan Firkus (William), Thomas Firkus (Rhea) and Trinity Firkus; her great grandchildren, Devin, Ethan, Emma, Eva, Evan of Piper, TJ, Ryder and Jaxon; her siblings, Peter Schill (Mitzi), Paul Schill (Sharon), Maria Larson (Mike) and Beatrice Viergutz (Jim); and her close friend Linda Porter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 problems, there will be no services per Rose's wishes.
