He is survived by: his wife Fern Gilbert; his children, Linda Wallace of Palmyra, WI, Michael Fregien (Elizabeth) of Nekoosa, WI and Michelle Schoof (Richard) of Waterford, WI; his sisters, Judith Willms and Joan Burton (Jim); and his brother-in-law Dwight Gilbert (Jane). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Lutheran Military Support Group.
