He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Franklin and Patricia Doan; and his brother Dennis Akey. He is survived by: his wife Susan Doan; his children, Christy Quednow (Curt) and Jeremy Akey (Crystal Kuentjes); his grandchildren, Alex, Wyatt, Zach, Tristan, Jonnie, Michael, Tanner, Diesel, Dexter, Luke, Logan, Jaxx, Alycia, Halaya, Addy, Justina and Kiana; his great grandchildren, Stephanie, Walter, Ellianna, Cooper, Corbin and Carson; and his sister Marion Zuege (Karl).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home (2201 Chestnut St, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
