It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger J. Schaaf of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerry Schaaf and Lena Schaaf (Smits); his wife Kathleen Bushmaker; his daughter Dawn Schaaf; his son-in-law Brian; his sister Jean Garehan; his siblings-in-law, MaryAnn Ladick, Cindy Hill, Phylis Halverson (Vernon), Marilyn Reils (Kenneth), Jean Stengle (Mike), Richard Krajewski (Sharon), Raymond Krajewski (Carol), Dennis Tittle, John Ruprecht (Yaeko), Jim Sackmaster, Jerry Sackmaster (Kathy) and Wayne Sackmaster (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Adam Woodward (Mindi), Dustin Woodward, Amanda LaBarge and Dylan Woodward; his great grandchildren, Mason, Aiden, Corbin, Jace and Heidi; and his close friends, John Oldakowski (Candy), Tracy Mumford and Ruth Hoffman. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Legion Rudolph Post 485, Veterans Honor Flight or the Wounded Warrior Project.
