He is survived by: his children, Robert Simon Almquist (Sarah), Jill Clapp, Lynn Almquist (Bill Hoes), Joan Almquist and Patrick Almquist; and his sister-in-law Elsie Mackie. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
