It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Stratton of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, born in Plainfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Stratton and Elenora Stratton (Bohn); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Shafer and Richard Bentley. He is survived by: his sons, Rick Stratton, James Stratton (Julie) and John Stratton; his grandchildren, Tyler, Crystal, Jamie Kester (Keaton), Allison, Brittany and Jace; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Josie and Kinsley; and his siblings, Doris Shafer and Robert Stratton (Patricia).

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Richard's name to the South Wood County Humane Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
