He is survived by: his children, Nina Pelo (Ken) of Port Edwards, Leslie Kozicki (Steve) of Rudolph, Susan Hess of Evansville, Richard Hess (Erin) of Port Edwards and Scott Hess (Rena) of Wisconsin Rapids; his grandchildren, Denise De Meyer (Chad), Kim Tornow, Dane Kozicki (Ashley), Drew Kozicki (Nicole), Sarah Wilson, Alex Wilson, Kristin Hess (Isaiah Sonnenfeld), Erik Hess (Leah Walker), Ashley Conlon (Mikee), Ian Hess, Ethan Hess, Alexis Ferkey (Nate), Jennyfer Primeau (Travis) and Tyler Sedall; and his great grandchildren, Kiley, Hailey, Truman, Arthur, Logan, Hunter, Lucas and Eli.
