He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Kertis and Amanda Kertis (Saeger); his siblings, Berdine Courter (Donald), Laverne Kertis (Carol) and Gilbert Kertis (Rachel); his daughter Tina Pearson; and his parents-in-law, Donald and Edwarda Margeson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Margeson; his daughter Shari Kertis; his grandsons, Matthew Kocher, Jeremy Kocher (Maggie), Joshua Kocher (Shannon), Drew Jones and Cole Pearson; his great grandchildren, Sydney Kocher, Serene Kocher, Kaelyn Kocher and Marlow Kocher; his siblings, James Kertis (Jeanette), Dale Kertis and Donna Kertis; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Linehan and Gerda Benedict (Benny); and his son-in-law Mark Pearson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John Lutheran Church (8020 S Park Rd, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
