It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard C. Getsinger of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Getsinger and Laura Getsinger (Favell); his children, Michael Coleman and Tanya Getsinger; and his sister Alice Schroeder.

He is survived by: his wife Selma Olson; his daughter-in-law Tammy; his son Tim Getsinger (Tammy) of Babcock, WI; his grandchildren, Gavin Getsinger (Bre), Victoria Distasio (Trevor), Marcus Getsinger and Kellen Getsinger; his great grandchildren, Lily, Owen and Rakahn; his siblings, Victor Getsinger (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ, Carrie Tritz (Ralph) of Pittsville, WI and Joyce Getsinger of Wisconsin Rapids; and his sisters-in-law, Willie Finifrock (Kay) of Barnum, MN, Cal Olson (Carmen) of Greenwood, IN, Sandy Long of Menomonie, WI, Sonya Gilgenbach of Menomonie, WI and Joye Dimka of Wisconsin Rapids. He is also survived by wife, kids, grandkids, and friends.

Out of concern for the health and safety of all in attendance, cloth face masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home and at the church.
