He was predeceased by: his parents, Torsten Andersen and Alice Andersen (Voisey); his siblings, Ted, Billy, Abe, Hayward, Emma and Joy; and his great grandchildren, Valerie and Atticus.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hancock; his children, Elaine Voight (Virgil) of Pittsville, Kathryn Bignall (Jerry) of Pittsville, Jonathan Andersen (Jennifer) of Bear Creek and Jason Andersen (Amy) of Windsor; his grandchildren, Eric Voight (Elsa), Heather Wellach (William), Susan Thombley (Paden), Olaf Voight (Hannah), Morgan Bignall (Ben), Luke Bignall (Lauren), Matthew Andersen (Rosiland), Rebecca Andersen, Sol Andersen and Seth Andersen; and also, Anna Jaque of Makkovik Labrador, Eugene Andersen (Penny) and Merv Andersen (Celeste) of Goosebay Labrador, Canada.. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church (310 1st St N, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In keeping with his passion for sending kids to church camp, Olie had requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Western District Camping Ministries Committee and mailed to the Moravian Church, 700 N. Mayflower Drive, Appleton, Wisconsin 54913.
