He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pearson and Elna Pearson (Lindberg); his former wife Mary Winandy; his daughter Linda Smith; his brother Roy; his sister-in-law Hedy Pearson; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Donna Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Leanne C. Hodge; his children, Steven Pearson (Denice) of Illinois, Evelyn Alan (Phil Zorc) of California, Diana Pozen (Joe) of Illinois and Donna Zimay (Robert) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Theresa, Sara, Amanda, Caleb, Jameson, Zachary, Ethan, Marshal, Alexandra, Samantha and Linda; and his great grandchildren, Elinor, Zoey, Valerie and Neil. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Wisconsin Lions Foundation or First English Lutheran Church.
