With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy J. Raasch (Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin), born in Ashland, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Bowman and Elizabeth Bowman (Starkman); and her husband Frank Raasch. She is survived by: her child Jodie Hewitt (Jay); her grandchildren, Autumn and Austin Hewitt; and her siblings, John Bowman, Carol Holevatz, Mike Bowman, Gary Bowman, Kathy Koziczkowski (Jim), Jerry McAnulty (Laurie Harris), Deb DeByl, Theo Bowman (Heather) and Bill Bowman (Mary). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nancy's memory made be made to the South Wood County Humane Society.

“I met Nancy when we both worked at Ore-Ida. She was my best friend back then, we just drifted apart, no problem with our friendship. Sadly, life pulls us away from those we love & I hadn't seen her in about 8 years. She was the warmest, kindest woman I've ever known. I will miss her smile & laugh & sometimes mischievous eyes. I'll meet you on the flip side my friend. Will miss knowing you're not still in this world. J.J.”
