She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Schmitt and Lucy Schmitt (Baesemann); her husband Victor Holtz; her daughter-in-law Audrey; her sister Barbara Seewald; and her siblings-in-law, Keith, Gary, Loyal "Bubs", Floyd, Wendell, Bertha Holtz and Neva Marceau.
She is survived by: her friends, Aggie, Jean and Sadie; her children, Lyle Holtz (Ruth), Laurie Van Ert (Chris) and Les Holtz; her grandchildren, Samantha McCormick (Jake), Kyle Holtz (Lindsey), Danielle Holtz (Reid), Matt, Kayla Van Ert, Nicole Clarke, Barb Lucas, Curt Agen and Emily Pankratz; her great grandchildren, Mia, Sean, Jacob, Ethan and Baby McCormick; her siblings, Ken Schmitt (Helen Rae) of Batavia and Karen Schmitt of Winter Haven, Florida.; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Gellerman of Wisconsin Rapids, Dorothy Berger of Racine, Sue Flynn (Ron) of Stoughton, Bonnie Holtz of Vesper and Janet Meddaugh (Jerry) of Wisconsin Rapids. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Mary's name to a favorite charity.
