With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjory C. Schenk (Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin), born in Rudolph, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Antone Kempen; her husband John "Jack" Schenk; her mother Mamie Kempen Smrz (Joosten); her son John A. "Jack" Schenk; her granddaughter Susan; her sons-in-law, Robert Wagner and Thomas Vavrek; her grandsons, Seth Vavrek, Nicholas Janz and Brian Janz; and her sisters, Lucille O'Shasky, Clarabell See, Janet Van Asten and Irene Van Asten.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Vavrek, Debra Schenk (Ken Apfelbeck), Sandra Hartjes (Randy), Roberta "Bobbi" Janz (Gary), Krista Van Asten (Jeff), Jane Wagner-Scheel (Peter), Steven "Charlie" Schenk (Julie), Dean Schenk (Mary), Dawn Schenk (Steve Miller) and Scott Schenk (Kim); her daughter-in-law Lisa Schenk-Diedrich; her sisters, Bernardine Jagodzinski and Helen Zubella; and her sister-in-law Margie Schenk. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; one step great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Marjory's name at a later date.
