It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion M. Wittenberg of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Flick and Philomena Flick; her husband Bill; her siblings, Jim, Frank, Roy, Ed Flick, Alice Plahmer and Ellen Suhr; her in-laws, Will and Elsa Wittenberg; and her siblings-in-law, Art, Fred Wittenberg and Esther Ogilvie (Nora Sotomayer).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Woodward of Wisconsin Rapids and Beverly Durant of Kiowa, Colorado; her granddaughters, Dr. Cassandra Durant and Gabriella Appleman (Barry) of Elbert, Colorado; her great grandchildren, Sheridan Rusch Durant and Kaizley Appleman; her daughter Patty Ellis of North Carolina; and her sister Louise Egland of Wisconsin Rapids.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home (2201 Chestnut St, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494).
