She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Engelman and Amanda Engelman (Plautz); her husband Don Kester of John's Lutheran Church; her son Larry Kester; her great grandchild Adam; and her brothers, Bud and Eldon.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerome Kester (Joyce), Jon Kester (Patricia), Daniel Kester (Kathie) and Peter Kester (Carol); her grandchildren, Wendy Kester, Michael Kester (Jenny), Craig Kester (Mindi), Chris Kester (Amy) and Sarah Wayne (Lance Reckin); her great grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob, Sam, Ben, Tyler, Morgan, Carly and Piper; and her friends, Mark, Jeri Ann, Gretchen and Morgan Reichl.
