She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Nelson and Dorothy Nelson (Waldvogel); and her siblings, Gary, Alan, Jerome, Gene, Mark, Karen and Joan.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Whitney; her children, Dani Gramza (Rick) and Richie Long (Diane); her grandchildren, Riley, Makenna, Chelsea and Dan; her great grandchildren, Quinn, Reagan and Frankie; and her siblings-in-law, Roberta Nelson and John Cavanaugh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
