He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Benitz and Ethel Benitz (Lake); his in-laws, Clifford and Lucille Marlett; and his siblings, Marian Nelson and Bill Benitz.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Marlett; his sister Elsie Miller; his children, Scott Benitz (Kim) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Vicki Scoles (Shane) of Kewaskum, WI and Shane Benitz (Leslie) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; his grandchildren, Zak, Brock, Brett, Brittini, Brelynn, Braeden, Brielle, Bryston, Max and Cale; his stepgrandchildren, Telycia and Matrix; and his great grandchildren, Korey, Braedyn, Lylah and Brantley.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests monetary donations be made to the family to fund a scholarship in Lewie's name.
