It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Elmer of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Elmer and Hulda Elmer (Baumman); and his siblings, Raymond Elmer, Shirley Janssen (Clifford) and Nancy Erdman.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Elmer (Steinke) of Luke's Lutheran Church; his daughter Angel Elmer; his stepchildren, Sandy Barse (Ed), Sharon Grosskreutz, Douglas Grosskreutz, Deb Beadle, Dennis Grosskreutz, Dale Grosskreutz and Lynn Coates (Michelle); and his siblings, Leonard Elmer (Jan) and Mary Johnson. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to St. Luke's Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice.
