He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lafler; his stepfather Dennis Ewell; his grandparents, Vivian, Cecelia Lafler, Arthur and Mavis Larish; his aunts and uncles, Christine Ortiz, Jim Larish, Gene Lafler, James Lafler and Linda Lang (Larry); and his cousin Terry Lafler.
He is survived by: his mother Laura Lafler (Larish); his stepsiblings, John Ewell and Joann Kruger (Chris); his aunts and uncles, Jeff Larish, Lynn Derrie (Mike) and Lisa Bollman (Steve); and his cousins, Justin Derrie, Liz King, Amanda Schmidt and Cassie Schelvan-Reyna.
