He was predeceased by: his father L'Roy "Gene" Courser; his grandparents, Marjorie, James Smith, Roy Courser and Helen Edgerly; and his nephew Jeremiah Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Cheri VandenBrink; his mother Eloise "Sis" Courser; and his children, Brian Courser (Carrie), Becky Courser (Chris Parks), Brandon Courser (Amber) and Teddy. He is also survived by Two great-grandchildren on the way and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
