He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Guse and Mary Guse (Janowski); his wife LaVerne Fencil; his sister Mildred Koss (Robert); his brother-in-law Tony Fencil (Mildred); and his parents-in-law, Anton and Frances Fencil.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Guse (Cindy) and Sandra Savage (Vernon "Butch"); his grandchildren, Wendy Savage, Gregg Savage (Kim Pogodzinski), Joe Guse (Kayla) and Jake Guse (Kaylyn); and his great grandchildren, Devon Bristol, Lily Rhodes, Brighton Pogodzinski, Maya Savage and Adelynn Savage. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
