He is survived by: his spouse Karen J. Piper; his daughter Alisa Rae Herman (Jim Wagner); and his siblings, Alfred Herman (Janet) of Cary, NC, Lawrence Herman of Wisconsin Rapids, Annabel Reber of Mesa, AZ and Barbara Arndt (Harlan) of Nekoosa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
