He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles McDonald and Evelyn McDonald (Goetz); his children, Kathleen Skerven (Gregory), John R. McDonald (Margy), Jean Irving (Rock), Dennis McDonald (Lori) and David McDonald (Brenda); his grandchildren, Heather, Erin, Karen, John M., Travis, Crystal, Amber, Mindy, Alaina, Jennifer, Kristin, Emily, Nick and Kate; his daughter-in-law Sheri McGinnis; his niece Dona Haske (Michael Spencer); his nephew Robert Haske (Sharon); his wife Therese Guenette; his sister Margaret Haske (Robert); and his grandson Robert "Bucky" Skerven. He was also cherished by 21 great-grandchildren.
