He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Barrette and Almeda Barrette (Hodgson); and his siblings, Jim, Tom, Dave Barrette (Lorraine), Margaret Slewitzke (Jim) and Rita Kotz.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Alice Barrette, Kathleen Barrette and Ray Kotz. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
