He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Winkler and Helen Winkler (Kostecki). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Joel Jr. Winkler (Kathy), Rev. Todd Winkler (Robin), Dale Winkler (Debbie) and Priscilla Patterson (Ronnie); the mother of his children Charlotte Nigh; his stepchildren, Dan Mlsna (Kay), Deb Christensen, Jodi Boardman (Doug), Sandy Hoefling (Dennis Pierce) and Tina Doty; his friends, Ron Heil and Dick Millard; and his granddaughter Stacie Clark. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
