With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerome H. Berendsen of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, born in Long Prairie, Minnesota, who passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Berendsen and Marie Berendsen (Peters); his wife Susan Berendsen; his great grandchild Levi Edwards; and his brother-in-law Mark Shields.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Berendsen (Cathy), Dana Wogerman (John), Aubrey Berendsen (Kristen) and Nicole Merriman (Dave); his grandchildren, Brittany, Ian, Angelica, Maleah, Christian, Gemma, Jacob, Nicole, Catherine, Jonathan, Maria, Timothy, Anna, Isaac, Charles, Birgitta, Edward, Anthony, James, Gianna, Willow, Nathan, Konner and Dana; his great grandchildren, Hadley, Matthew, Alena, Jerome, Leo, Thomas, Peter, Annie, Becket, Andrew, Henry, Jude, Sophie, Grace, Gerard, David, Anastasia, Charlie Rose, Malakai, Eliza, Benedict, Barbara, Sebastian and Fabian; his siblings, Raymond Berendsen, Norbert Berendsen, Joseph Berendsen, Daniel Berendsen (Pam), Theresa Burnham, Elizabeth Peters (Noel), Barbara Bloomberg (Doug) and Laurie Bruce (Mike); his siblings-in-law, Jeff Shields (Marion) and Ritchie; and his nephew Lane Shields.
