He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Vruwink and Florence Vruwink (Ver Cruse); his wife Donna (Spranger); his son Ronald; his brothers, Don Vruwink, Bill Vruwink, Lewis Vruwink (Karen), Edward Vruwink (Shirley), Ira Vruwink (Inge) and Howard Vruwink (Betty); his son-in-law Dale Will; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Mertes, Jerry Schenk, Tom Hanneman and Betty Weidner.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Will, Judy Murrow (Dale), Jane Hilgart (Tom), Doug Vruwink, James L. Vruwink (Tracy), Thomas Vruwink and Amy Sue Vruwink (Matt Crane); his grandchildren, Brent, Brandon, Lindsey, Lindy, Aaron, Dale Jr., Jade, Adam, Tyler, Myles, Trae, Katheryn, Zach, Brittney, Danielle, Justin, Lexi, Michael, Chelsey, Carissa, Chasten, Chandler, Kennedy and Jackson; his sisters, Shirley Mertes, Carol Hanneman and Margie Schenk; and his siblings-in-law, Bonita Benschoter, Tony, Mike Spranger and Bob Weidner. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
