He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hackman and Anna Hackman (O'Betke); his brother Jack Hackman; and his brother-in-law Jim Ziehr (Ruth). He is survived by: his wife LeeAnn Ziehr; his children, Kim King (George) of Grafton, WI, Jim Jr. Hackman (Tracey) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Korey Hackman (Wendy) of Plover, WI and Ryan Hackman (Heidi) of Port Edwards, WI; his grandchildren, Casey Hollar (Lindsay), Alex Hackman, Joseph Hackman (Kayla), Emily Hollar, McKayla Hackman, Braedyn King, Jackson King and Mason Hackman; his great grandchildren, Colby Hollar and Emily Sutheimer; and his sister-in-law Joanne Hackman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in James's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
