He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Darell, Sue DeWitt, Albert and Elizabeth Dachel; and his nephew AJ DeWitt.
He is survived by: his mother Margaret DeWitt Sr. (Dachel); his daughter Cheyanne DeWitt (Alex Molitor); his father James DeWitt Sr. (Kathy); and his siblings, Jeff DeWitt (Nicole), Tina Bush (Eddy), Tami Abel (Phil), Traci Dulak (Steve) and Cathy Hare.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the St. Judes Children's Hospital.
