He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Pidgeon and Lona Pidgeon (Mallory); his siblings, Donald Collins, Lenora Collins and Wilma Nelson; his parent-in-law James; and his brothers-in-law, Timothy Turbin, Richard Bauer, Merlin Van Asten, Richard Stein and Donald Stein.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, James Pidgeon (Nicole) and Robert Pidgeon (Catherine); his grandchildren, Ryan, Aubrey, Crystal, Kaylee, Jacob and Tim; his siblings, Fredrick Pidgeon (Germaine), Annette Pidgeon of Wisconsin Rapids and Debra Turbin of Wisconsin Rapids; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Anderson (Charlie), Jackie Kust (Rodney), Susan Stein, Donna Van Asten and Mary Jo Sweetalla (Joel). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
