We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2024, at the age of 73, James Allen Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, born in Decorah, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Johnson and Stella Johnson (Newhouse); his siblings, Myrna McNatt (Dobbin) and Gerald Johnson (Linda); his wife Janis Quest; his sons, John Johnson (Brooke) and Joseph Johnson (Kari Reinke); and his grandchildren, Rachel Schmidt, Michele Layne (James), Matthew Quest (Pauline), Stella, Wyatt Johnson, Jocelyn, Abram Johnson, Natalie, Allison, Olivia Schmidt, Sean Balistreri, Madison and Ryan Quest.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to the South Wood County Humane Society.
