Irene Wolosek Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Wolosek (Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Dhein and Elsie Dhein (Waterman); her brother Herbert Dhein, Jr. (Bonnie); her husband Felix Wolosek, Jr.; and her daughter Kay O'Shasky.

She is survived by: her children, Tom Wolosek (Linda), Ted Wolosek (Bev), Dave Wolosek, Carol DiPasqua (Curt), Mike Wolosek (Bonita) and Pat Wolosek (Evelyn Chandonais); her grandchildren, Tom Wolosek, Ryan O'Shasky, Missy O'Shasky, Betsy O'Shasky, Trina Wolosek, Lisa Myhre, Stacy Wolosek, Brian Wolosek, Brandon Jensen, Mathew Jensen, Logan Wolosek, Riley Wolosek, Josh Peterson and Aron Peterson; her sister Shirley Plowman; and her son-in-law Kevin Peterson (Barb). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Irene, always a seamstress, also dedicated many of the years since the death of her daughter, Anita, to sewing quilts and donating them to newborns and sick children in both Marshfield and Riverview Hospitals.
