He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kardash and Loretta Kardash (Coleman); and his son-in-law Peter Malek. He is survived by: his wife Joan Lemke; his child Kim Malek; his grandson Andrew; his son Keith Kardash (Lesa); and his grandchildren, Isabelle, Grayson, Oliver and Maya Kardash. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
