He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Anderson and Louise Anderson (Grube); his wife Donna Anderson (Kohlbeck); his siblings, Ralph Anderson (Margaret) and Carol VanNatta (Bruce); his siblings-in-law, Wenzel, Laura Kohlbeck, Roger Kohlbeck (Gerri), Robert Kohlbeck (Marlene), Al Diers, Dennis Tesmer and Thomas VerKilen; and his nephews, Sgt Kevin VerKilen and Gary Kohlbeck.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Heffernon (Patrick) of Burnsville, MN, Renee Skibba (William) of Wisconsin Rapids, Sheila Provost (Kevin) of Wisconsin Rapids and Brad Anderson (Renee) of Wisconsin Rapids; his grandchildren, Raechel Oster (Matthew), Jacob Heffernon, Matthew (Briana), Tyler (Jenny), Nicholas Skibba (Lindsey), Ross Provost (Rachel), Faye Wolosek (Lance), Chase (Amanda), Cole and Cara Anderson; his stepgrandchildren, MaKenna, Reid, Gavin and Bennet Tilberg; his great grandchildren, Xavier, Blake, Jaxton, Kinley, Eisleigh, Emmelynn, Sophia, Rhett and Bentley; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Diers, Marilynn Zimmerman (Paul), Patricia VerKilen and Harold "Coke" Kohlbeck (Barbara).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Rapids American Legion Post 9 or the Alzheimer's Association.
