Sawaska (Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin), born in Milladore, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 18, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claus Hoeneveld and Katherine Hoeneveld (Van Der Pan); her husband William Sawaska; her children, James Weiss and Linda Weiss; her siblings, Theodore Hoeneveld and Syble Hoeneveld-Gotzmann; and her grandson Terry J. Newby.
She is survived by: her former spouse LaVern Weiss; her daughters, LaVonne Newby (Jere), Judith Barton (James) and Katherine Hafenbredl (Douglas); her grandchildren, Douglas Newby (Mary), Michelle Zimmerman (Jeffrey), Jackie Barton Johnson (Tim), James Barton Jr. (Pamela), Kim Cabino, Marcie Weiss, George Carstensen, Molly Hafenbredl Einerson (Logan) and Abby Hafenbredl; and her sister-in-law Elaine Tetzloff. She is also survived by her 11 Great Grandchildren; her 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
