With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Charles Duerr Sr. of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, born in Athens, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 22, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Duerr and Irna Duerr (Strege); his wife Edith "Deannie" Dennis; his children, David and Sandy; his grandson Eric; and his brothers, Willard, Clarence, Roy and Marvin.
He is survived by: his children, George Duerr (Sue) of Pittsville, Richard Duerr (Jo Polzer) of Kellner and Tammy Conrad (Mike) of Monroe, LA; his grandchildren, Jeremy Duerr (Kristi), Kyle Duerr (Holly), Richard Duerr, Elizabeth Duerr, Daniel Duerr, Kimberly Negroni, Charles Duerr (Laura), Bobbi Duerr (Matthew Spindler), Nichole Conrad (Rufus Anderson) and Sarah Hoemke (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Ryan, Natalie, Victoria, Isabella, Adalynn, Samuel, Jonathan, Katherine, Caroline, Aiden, Willa and Ani; his great great grandchild William; and his brother Ed Duerr of Marshfield. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorials in George's name to be directed to The American Legion Post 54 in Marshfield.
