He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. Sr. Austin and Hildegard Austin (Haas); his brother Raymond Jr.; and his sister-in-law Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Marie Leona Hansen; his children, Rick Austin (Mari) and Lisa Novack (Steve) of Rhinelander; his grandchildren, Carl and Shalisa; his great grandchildren, Bo and Jo; and his cousins, Bernard Tyjeski and Ronald Morse. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
