He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tomczyk and Pauline Tomczyk (Nowak); his siblings, Eva, Francis Tomczyk (Maryoel Tomczyk Peters), Lucina Brandt (Rudolph), Sylvia Bushmaker (Gerald) and Dennis Tomczyk (June); his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Baltus and Glenn Swetz; and his in-laws, H. Wilson, Gladys Gabler, Palma Gabler, Yvonne Heminger (Dale) and Virgil Gabler (LuEtta).
He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Joseph Tomczyk (Cindy) of Monona, WI and Julie Drew (Scott) of Port Edwards, WI; his grandchildren, Scott Eggebrecht, Jennifer Anderson and Gunnar Drew; his great grandchildren, Zander and Tanner Anderson; and his sister Alvina Swetz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (6190 Chapel Rd, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
