He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Nelson and Harriet Nelson (Buss); and his sister Susan Larson. He is survived by: his wife Cathleen Nelson (O'Connor); his sons, Ross and Dillon; and his siblings, Carl Nelson, Carrie Nelson (Dennis) and Maggie Nelson (Terry).
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes consideration of memorials in Eric's memory to the Central Wisconsin BMX Club.
