Duane R. Mayer Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane R. Mayer of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 19, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Mayer and Delores Mayer; his stepfather Richard Rentmeester; his brother Dennis Mayer; and his granddaughter Samantha Schraeder.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine Mayer; his siblings, Diane Mayer (Nancy), Doug Mayer (Barbara), Donna Mayer-Leialoha (Chester) and Daniel Mayer; his stepsiblings, Thomas Rentmeester, Donna Gerrits-Deck and Peter Rentmeester (Cindy); his grandsons, Robert and Benjamin Franks; his children, Logan, Lukas, Jordyn, Alex Schraeder, Carter, Delainey, Tatum, McQuaid Morrison, Kaleb and Lenna Mayer; and also, Kristi Franks (Robert), Theresa Johnson (Joseph), Amy Morrison (Scott) and David Mayer (Lindsay).

In lieu of sending flowers, Duane's family asks that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
