She was predeceased by: her parents, Elroy Kurtzweil and Amanda Kurtzweil (Hornung); her parents-in-law, Howard and Evelyn Austin; her siblings, Lillian Lang (Fred), Mary Jane Jansen (Richard), Lavern Krautkramer, Elaine Kienbaum and Lyle Kurtzweil; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Austin (Colleen) and Louie Martin.
She is survived by: her husband John H. Austin; her children, James Austin (Robyn) and Sherry Reffner (Baird); her grandchildren, Casey Austin (Emily Boevers), Clayton Austin (Becca Becker), Colin Reffner (Amy) and Carter Austin (Mamie Redfearn); her great grandchildren, Mya and Eli Reffner; her sister Angie Martens; and her siblings-in-law, Lyle Krautkramer, Richard Kienbaum, Elaine Kurtzweil, Joseph Austin (Janice), Leonard Austin (Patricia), Richard Austin (Jane), Ann Seubert (Jim), Grace Martin, Marion Theurer (Jim), Kay Raleigh and Dorothy Brod (Allen).
