He was predeceased by: his brother Ronald; his mother Sophie; his adoptive parents, Raymond Derezinski and Josephine Derezinski (Joan); his stepfather Chester Dreva (Chet); and his brother-in-law Greg Engfer.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Mary (Mark), David (Dolly) and Daniel (Giovanna); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyler, Josiah (Denise), Asa, Jacob (Cheyenne), Justin (Aubrey), Jessica and Khaleesi; his great grandchildren, James, Ryan, Colton, Aria, Hayden and Hudson; and his sister Christine Engfer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ritchay Funeral Home (1950 12th St S, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
