It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deloris E. Hentges of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald; her daughter Colleen Denniston; her sons-in-law, Harry North and Tom Arnold; and her granddaughter Kelly Walkowiak.
She is survived by: her children, Geri North, Jackie Arnold, Kathy Pierce (Dale), Kim Hentges and Colette Altmann (Tom); and her grandchildren, Jay North (Joanne), Jodie Leiser (Ron), Jamie North (Kerry Miltmore), Chris North (Laura), Beth Iversen (Ryan), Brandee Zavala (Alberto), Tayler Denniston (Tom Williams), Trevor Denniston (Stacie), Greg Arnold, Tim Arnold (Amber), Lindsey Petasek (Adam), Shane Steltenpohl (Angie), Nathan Steltenpohl (Hollie), Jordan Pierce (Tara), Mitch Altmann (Ryleigh Allcox), Morgan Altmann and Matthew Altmann (Prita Narayan). She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services and Huntington House for their friendship and care, especially during the pandemic.
She was a member of the Third Order of Franciscans which practice the lessons St. Francis taught concerning prayer, humility, peacemaking, and charity.
