He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Sweitz" Wittenberg and Edna Wittenberg (Hoffman); his siblings, Jerry Wittenberg and Carol Vreeland; his siblings-in-law, Don Zager, Dick Vreeland and Shirley Wittenberg; and his nephew Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Stevens, Todd Wittenberg (Kelly) and Jennifer Zuehlke; his grandchildren, Katie (Dan), Courtney (Aaron), Jordan (Jesse), Calli, Jesse (Makaylah), Emily (Sam), Dylan and Logan; his siblings, Charlie Wittenberg (Cathy), Dee Zager, Bev Damrau (Gary) and Marlene Krasavage (Ken); his son-in-law Fred Zuehlke; and his granddaughter Brooke Horn. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
