He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gotz and Alice Gotz (Prokop); his wife Judith A. Goetz; his sister Sybil Krueger; and his nephew Jerry Krueger.

He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Loos; his grandsons, Zachary Loos and Thomas Loos; and his nephews, James Krueger and David Krueger. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David's name to Assumption High School or St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
